The historic town of Breckenridge, originally a mining town established in the 1800s, is now a world-class ski and outdoor sport destination. Located just 90 miles from Denver, it is a local favorite. Also, with easy access from the Denver International Airport (DIA), it is a popular destination for visitors from around the world. Main Street is lined with restaurants and boutique shops that occupy charming 19thcentury buildings from the gold mine era — a blend of hand-hewn log cabins mixed with Victorian-style brick structures that harken back to the days of the gold rush. Neighborhoods are dotted with the iconic A-frame homes of the 70’s and modern luxury homes with spectacular views of the mountains.
